Pour Pour Pour
~ a poem
What’s the rain
That doesn’t cause some chaos
That doesn’t break some panes
That doesn’t strike some chills
The soft drizzles
The timid showers
The gentle rain-soaked breeze
Ahh! They are not for me
They lack intensity
That I seek
The threatening roars of the sky
When the heavens pour mad
I untie my hair and run wild
Into the wilderness far away
Splashing damp earth all about
Drenched in ferocious rain
I put a vermilion of mud
Onto my forehead
It says I belong to Mother nature
No one owns me but Her
I own no one but Her
I call out to Her
With all my might
Pour pour pour the heavens down
Upon this earth, O Mother
Quieten down the vain cacophony
Let your harmonious loudness prevail
Within and without

“No one owns me but Her
I own no one but Her”
Can relate to this line so much. Thank you for sharing your poem❤️❤️
